The word ”ethno”, means the study of people, and ”lab” is derived from the notion that we spend time with them in their spaces.

Our speciality market is the bottom end to emerging market. We are a consumer insights firm, that works strategically with clients to collect and collate key insights.


In November 2018, Ethno Lab successfully completed the SAB Accelerator Programme. The programme’s focus is on developing small black-owned suppliers by providing business and technical coaching; as well as mentorship. Ethno Lab was part of the programme since February 2018 and continues to be supported by ABInBev..
